March/April Reading List
Who else finds it more difficult to read as the days get longer and the weather improves? ME!
I have also had some trouble with my glasses prescription and have been attempting to rest my eyes when I rather read! It can be so difficult to do NOTHING or in other words, just relax. It can be super beneficial to our adrenals and even hormonal health when we step away from devices and lay down for an extra 10-15 minutes each day.
I am now 7 books deep into the Anne of Green Gables Series. The focus in Rainbow Valley turns to Anne’s children, an orphan named Mary Vance, and the wild children living in the Manse. This book showcases L.M. Montgomery’s aptitude at capturing the world through the eyes of children. This book is funny, filled with debacles only unmanaged and creative children can find themselves in. It also includes romance rekindled and love and marriage after loss. Her books really cover the whole gambit of LIFE.
Boe was recently diagnosed with Equine Cushing’s disease or PPID. I nerded out to this book to get a different perspective on managing the condition to add to the knowledge I have researched and gained from the equine vet.
I have had so much fun embroidering little things from this book onto Clancy’s clothes! There are truly hundreds of different patterns and all the information needed to get started embroidering. It has me thinking outside my usual embroidery box, if you will!
Five Day Bible Reading
I am still in deep keeping up with the daily readings assigned in the Five Day Bible Reading plan.
I definitely have slowed down lately but I do enjoy what I have been reading! What book(s) are you enjoying right now? Comment below!
stay nourished,
